For two seconds lets put tonight into a North London context. ANOTHER big night has arrived for The Arsenal vs Juve 1/4 finals of the CL, whereas the prentenders down the road were last night in raptures over their late win over WBA providing them with a gap in their fight for FOURTH place in the Prem.
If Arsenal can emulate the scousers then whether spuds are FOURTH or not.... Juve are a mighty club, but SO are Arsenal, the outcome against Real proved it (forget the AFTER thoughts, of people talking Madrid down).
It is desperately important that Arsenal go to Turin with the knowledge that the Italians must come at them looking for a win in normal time. Chances are that it will take shots from a distance to break open the Italians and for that reason I favour Bergkamp in the starting line-up. Good as Hleb has been recently it will be so much harder to have a profitable time facing a tough Italian built wall.
ArsenalTalk hope to infiltrate the opposition fans ranks tonight and be able to give a supporter's view from the 'other' side. What ever the final outcome, a big welcome surely to Vieira - though I doubt AW's view that he will crack up and if joining the Juve fans and widely applauding Vieira unsettles him.....
Good luck to Arsenal and I hope that all Gooners everywhere enjoy another night of celebration.
